The Musicologist
I am a research fellow at the Norwegian Academy of Music, and I work regularly in Gent, Belgium with ORCiM, the research group of the Orpheus Institute. I will defend my doctoral dissertation on John Cage, Elaborating Nothing – Cage’s Aesthetics of Silence, in the fall of 2009. This semester I teach courses on John Cage, Non-academic writing (criticism, journalism, essays, interviews, etc.), and tango (dancing).
